Overview
“Kimya ve Kimyasal Teknoloji” programı, Letonya’da türünün tek örneği olup, imalat, biyoteknoloji, ilaç, gıda, kozmetik, yakıt, odun, seramik, tekstil ve yapı malzemeleri gibi endüstriler için kimya mühendisliği uzmanları yetiştirmek üzere tasarlanmıştır. Program ayrıca uzmanları araştırma kurumları, kalite kontrol laboratuvarları ve ticari şirketlerdeki roller için hazırlar.
Müfredat, kimyasal süreç yönetimi, üretim ünitesi tasarımı, bilgisayar modelleme, kemometri, moleküler spektroskopi ve çevre koruma gibi temel konuları kapsar. Öğrenciler aşağıdaki gibi alanlarda uzmanlaşmayı seçebilirler:

- Biyomalzemelerin Kimyası ve Teknolojisi
- Polimerlerin Kimyası ve Teknolojisi

The “Chemistry and Chemical Technology” program is the only one of its kind in Latvia, designed to train chemical engineering specialists for industries such as manufacturing, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, fuel, wood, ceramics, textiles, and building materials. The program also prepares specialists for roles in research institutions, quality control laboratories, and commercial companies.
The curriculum covers core topics like chemical process management, production unit design, computer modeling, chemometry, molecular spectroscopy, and environmental protection. Students can choose to specialize in areas such as:
- Biologically Active Compounds
- Chemistry and Technology of Biomaterials
- Chemistry and Technology of Polymers
- Chemistry and Technology of Silicate Materials
- Environmental Engineering
- General Chemical Technology
